General Booking - What to expect

1. Contact me - We are working on getting our online booking up and running, but in the mean time just fill out our contact form, shoot me an email, text message, or give me a call. All you need to do is let me know your name and a good way to get back in touch with you!
2. Free Consultation - We will discuss what kind of photos you are looking for, where you would like to take them, and other details about what the photoshoot would be like. Absolutely no pressure to commit to anything!
3. Receive an Estimate - I will take care of any research that may be needed and let you know when we can do the photoshoot and how much it will cost! For example, venues and public spaces often have rules and fees when it comes to using their space for professional photography. I will take care of working out the logistics to help you factor in any costs or limitations before you make any decisions. These are hard times, so I try to make my services as affordable as I can!
4. Pay the Invoice - When you are ready, I will send you an invoice to pay, and then we can really get things started!
5. Pre-Photoshoot Consultation - Need wardrobe suggestions? I’ve got you covered! Want to put together a shot list? This is the time! Feeling artistic and want to create a mood board and talk color schemes? Let’s do it!
6. Photoshoot - I’m here to help walk you through the entire process and make this a fun and enjoyable experience. I can give you posing advice and tips for how to look great on camera. We will look at pictures as we are taking them - I find it helps people feel confident, be more creative, and also lets you give me some feedback on what you like or dislike. You should leave the shoot feeling like you have a pretty good idea what the final results will look like!
7. Photo Selection - I will send you a link to a gallery of unedited proofs for you to select from.
8. Developing and Retouching - The camera captures the light, but the photographer crafts the image. This is the digital equivalent of professionally developing film. If you requested retouching, I will also go through the photos and use Adobe Photoshop to clean up things like skin imperfections or other details you request.
9. Delivery! - You will receive digital copies of your photographs delivered as full-size, high resolution JPG images. Additional versions, such as web-friendly files, can also be made available.
